Job summary

Amazon is seeking to add an Amazon Tour Leader to our fulfillment center public tours program in BGY1, Cividate al Piano, Italy. The public tours program opens our virtual and physical doors to highlight Amazon’s amazing people, using innovative technologies to deliver on our customer promises. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills, solid leadership presence for in-person group tours, and someone comfortable presenting to a large audience on camera. You like meeting new people, have high energy and can answer guest questions in a fun and thoughtful way.

You will support the public tours program by providing a world-class customer experience. You will work closely with the site leadership in a fast-paced organization to coordinate and deliver fulfillment center tours to the public, which may include media and government officials, on a daily basis. You will possess superb organizational skills and exercise good judgement with extreme attention to important details. You will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders; General Managers, operations partners, vendors, and other internal teams to drive efficient and professionally run tours. You have the ability to quickly pivot at a moment’s notice, have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak and present to large groups of stakeholders, have a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the work done, and you enjoy the challenges of helping craft great experiences for our customers.

You will have a proven ability, willingness, and desire to: Exercise high judgement, particularly in narrow time frames; work autonomously and efficiently, but are judicious enough to know when to ask for help. You will be able to foster and develop local community relationships and have the ability to learn and be curious to drive program and site level tour improvements.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the fulfillment center tours program in BGY1 Fulfillment Center;
- Take a lead role in delivering messaging about Amazon among both internal partners and external audiences;
- Coordinate and execute fulfillment center tours; maintain ownership of tour calendar; manage site budgets; coordinate guests; manage feedback;
- Be prepared to host up to three tours a day;
- Cultivate a knowledge-sharing environment;
- Make data-driven recommendations to benefit the program; drive program improvements;
- Earn trust with site leadership and build relationships with local community groups;
- Have the ability to answer questions spontaneously;
- Ability to manage and lead tactical + strategic project work for the team
