We are currently collaborating with a well known Premium Fashion Brand and looking for a **Retail Planner** in Milan.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, she/he will plan buying budget by channel (physical and e-commerce), tying back to overall financial needs.
She/he is responsible for merchandise allocation and distribution of all product categories with the objective of meeting sales goals.
She/he contributes to identify opportunities at store level.
**Duties include**:
- Initial order allocation;
- Managing transfers and reorders, partnering with Buyer and Store Managers to ensure proper merchandise assortment by door (existing and new) and maximise sale and inventory.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Own the Open to Buy process from initial allocation through end of life cycle, including replenishment, consolidation to other stores or channel;
- Manage overall store inventory levels based on store capacity, attributes, seasonality and sales curve;
- Monitor flow of initial assortment, planning reassortment by category to cross sale path;
- Ensure buy quantity and inventory level meet sales trend and maximise key sale period;
- Be aware and highlight shipping issues that may affect sales.
**Profile**:
- Experience in Retail Planning (Preferably in Apparel Retail);
- Advances knowledge of Microsoft Office, above all Excel;
- Strong analytics skills as well as retail math knowledge (Mark up, margin, open to by, gross margin);
- Problem solving and critical thinking attitude;
- Fluent English, other languages will be a plus;
- Flexible and able to handle work independently;
- Positive mindset and team spirit.
