**DESCRIPTION**

AXA Partners Compliance Officer

The AXA Partners Compliance Officer is responsible for assisting the Compliance Function in implementing and ensuring a robust and effective compliance function across all business units within AXA Partners. The Compliance Officer will work as part of the Central Compliance team to implement policies and procedures and ensure deliverance of the annual Compliance Plan. As part of the AXA Partners Compliance Team, the Compliance officer will also work on Global projects across all Geographies and Business Units.

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
- Member of the Central Compliance Team
- 2nd line Monitoring of local business activity including FOS business
- Provide BAU Compliance support to all Business Unit within AXA Partners
- Provide Regulatory advice to all Business Units within AXA Partners
- Support Global Compliance Projects as required, including Regulatory Change
- Conduct Compliance Monitoring Reviews in line with the annual Compliance Plan
- Preparation of Compliance Metrics for local Board and EXCOM reporting purposes
- Conduct Compliance Training and Awareness programs across AXA Partners.
- Role will work across AXA Partners Promote a One AXA Partners Compliance team across all business lines and Geographies
- To work collaboratively with others in the Legal and Compliance function to ensure a One AXA approach and to help create an effective combined AP General Secretary team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Who we are looking for**

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3-5 years working within the Compliance, Complaints, Audit or Risk team or a regulated insurance company or group.
- Understanding and experience local insurance regulatory framework.
- Ability to travel to the business operation to oversee effectiveness of local compliance programs.
- Strong understanding of Insurance products and distribution models.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) in English.
- Ability to meet or exceed deadline, prioritise, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast paced changing environment.
- Commercial acumen and ability to influence with persuasive skills and a high level of personal integrity
- Critical thinking and good analytical skills
- Strong decision making skills is a core requirement.
