**IT DIRECTOR ITALY**:
**Main responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Europe Regional CIO, the IT Director Italy will have a broad and central role in the Europe IT organization. He/she be part of the Italian management group, with dotted line to the MD Italy.
Within Europe, each Zone IT Director has a dual role: on one hand be the IT director for the geography, and on the other hand be accountable for a functional area at European level (DevOps Leadership).
Area of Responsibility:
The IT Director represents the ‘business voice’ in the company organization, and he or she must ensure that IT strategy supports implementation of business strategy and alignment with function strategy.
The IT Director will be responsible to drive the company strategy within his/her zone. It is essential that the IT Director can both follow corporate guidelines and challenge the business and ensure needs for new solutions are taken into account in the IT roadmap.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and understand priorities for the zone: Define the IT Transformation plan in line with IT and business strategy for the zone and ensure company’s priorities will address those.
- Elaborate Business cases for major IT transformations to initiate and contribute with DevOps Teams for project execution.
- Participate in development of business strategic planning and lead relevant IT strategic planning as well as maintain up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, make recommendations.
- As a company leader develop business network inside the company and the environment, represent company values internal and externally and be a brand ambassador and a business promoter.
- Ensure that security policies are applied and closely work with Digital Risk Leader to maintain secure environment and data privacy.
- 10+ Years of progressively increasing IT leadership experience combined with strong business acumen, gained in **Italian subsidiaries of multinational manufacturing companies** **with a complex matrix organization **and with an international environment with a high number of stakeholders
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of ERP & Satellite Applications (CRM tools and business intelligence, etc.)
- Relevant experience leading global or multi-country rollout of **ERP solutions** (knowledge of **SAP** will be considered a plus)
- Proven experience of managing both internally built and SaaS platforms. A track record of having institutionalized modern software engineering models (Agile, DevOps, product management, UI/UX, etc.) and has introduced data and analytics capabilities that have meaningful impact on business outcomes
