**Position Snapshot**:

- Nestlé in Italy, Milan HQ
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Engineering
- Fluent in Italian, English and at least one Oriental language (Chinese, Japanese, Korean )
- Full-time internship (6 months)
- Start date: September

**Position Summary**:
**A day in the life of...**:

- Research information about competitors and potential distributors in the assigned countries including price positioning, promotions and value chain assessments
- Analyze sales data to identity insights, trends, opportunities (Nielsen data, Euromonitor, internal data, customer data)
- Assist in the preparation of offers and presentations and coordinate exchange of information and sales materials with customers (samples, product certifications, product images, catalogs)
- Activate new customer registration process by collecting relevant data and sharing with other departments
- Coordinate with customers local commercial plans monitoring execution and budget
- Help customers in the phase that leads to placing an order (samples, forecasting, availability, draft purchase order) and support them in the following stages
- Collet requests for POS materials and develop proper solution by adapting existing materials or developing new ones

**What will make you successful**:

- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Engineering
- Highly organized, problem-solving, analytical and quantitative mindset
- Result Focused, curious
- A people person capable of quickly developing effective relationships with colleagues working remotely from other countries as well as people working in other functions and international customers
- Energetic and passionate about working in a multicultural environment and winning with the team
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, capable of carrying out analysis of complex datasets without supervision
- Fluent in Italian, English and at least one oriental language (preferably Chinese, Japanese, Korean); knowledge of other languages will be highly appreciated along with a meaningful international experience (study or work abroad for a minimum of 6 months).
