Our company is a fast-growing global company based in Harpenden where we have our centralising Accounting function for International. We are seeking an experienced AP & banking person to cover AP & Banking for Isagro Italy. As we transition the AP from Italy to the UK, this role will support that process as well as encompass other International companies.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Centralisation of AP and banking functions, processing supplier Invoices and payments and transferring them to our Citibank platform
- Processing and matching against invoices all bank transactions daily
- Processing of timely payment runs for Suppliers. employees and Intercompany
- Processing of ad hoc payments and direct debits
- Month end closing of AP, Treasury / Banks ensuring deadlines are met.
- Production of all Bank statements and reconciliation to GL
- Continuous improvement of the processes
- 9. Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects where required

**SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- ** Italian speaker - Fluent in oral and written Italian**:

- Previous AP & Treasury, multi-currency experience
- Understands Basic Accounting principles
- Experience working in a finance environment
- Provide support on Month End deadlines to International Accountant
- Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve whilst working under pressure
- Ability to handle detailed information/data accurately
- Experience in working with teams based remotely
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Organised, proactive, process orientated and deadline driven
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP System experience preferable (JD Edwards, E1 or Enterprise one)

**EXPECTATIONS**:

- Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Must be flexible, if required, to work outside of normal hours at certain times.
