In Naples Hitachi Rail employees roughly 700 people, mostly engineers, who are developing signalling technologies at the state of the art, signaling systems design, the analysis of safety, reliability and availability, laboratory testing, contract management and control, research and development, procurement, and prevention and protection.

The Naples offices are located in the area of San Giovanni a Teduccio, industrial area where is easy to reach the airport and train stations.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
- Support the definition of Category Procurement Strategy for Depot equipment and Rail infrastructures;
- Implement a complete sourcing package and respect project objectives (quality/timing/economics/risks) by leading project sourcing activities with bidding/project team and specific Category stakeholders;
- He/she shall have contracting skills and be able to manage relationships with suppliers and internal customers.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- University Degree (Engineering, Economics, Law) or Equivalent;
- Technical Background;
- From 3 up to 5 years of Procurement expertise;
- Cost & Commercial Acumen;
- Benchmarking and risk management;
- Agreements;
- Suppliers relationship;
- Negotiation;
- Statutory Policies and Organizational Processes;
- Suppliers qualification processes and methods;
- Vendor rating and suppliers monitoring;
- IT Tools (Ms Office, SAP, E- Auction etc.);
- Procurement Planning Methods;
- Reporting;
- Good English proficiency;
- Purchasing Process and Procedures.
