**Your role**

- We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our IB Compliance team, based in Milan, who has and wants to further develop these attitudes.**Your team**
- You’ll be part of the UBS ESE Italy Branch IB Compliance team, reporting to the Head of UBS ESE IB Compliance.
- You’ll be working closely with Compliance colleagues across the UBS ESE IB Branches and UBS ESE Hub, as well as with the UBS Compliance team based all over Europe.

**Your expertise**
- Main responsibilities- Advice IB Business (Global Markets, Global Banking, GFIW) on risk and compliance matters
- Perform second level of defence controls under the existing UBS IB monitoring program
- Run Regulatory analyses and deliver accordingly
- Deliver Compliance Trainings to IB local staff
- Support UBS ESE Italy IB Compliance in day by day activities, also with reference to the preparation of governance committees and forums, as well as periodic reports to Regulators

Education, experience and personal
- To be successful in this role it would be ideal if you have:
- a degree in law, or economics, banking and finance, preferably with legal qualifications;
- previous experience in a similar role in banking and finance sector;
- good knowledge of financial European and Italian Regulation framework;
- fluency in English, a prerequisite for the role;
- excellent communication and organizational skills and high attention to details and accuracy;
- ability to objectively argue with and advising business and senior executives, providing them with critical compliance advice;
- ability to work independently while always maintaining a team-oriented approach;
- high integrity and strong accountability.
