**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
We are looking for a talented Junior **Planning and Coordination Specialist** to join our small but busy Project Coordination team who is responsible for the overall coordination of the Olympic and Paralympic project throughout the entire Games lifecycle.

To support the Head of Planning and Coordination in the following activities:

- Support the tracking and progress of activities of the team Planning and Coordination;
- Managing the monitoring tools identified by the IOC and Milano Cortina 2026 (Masterschedule, Radio and others on Smartsheet)
- Prepare Dashboard and Reporting for internal and/or crossfunctional meetings
- Prepare high-quality slide decks and/or presentations in support of the other colleagues of the Planning and Coordination (PNC)
- Support the FA in the preparation of specific IOC Meetings (Coordination Commission, Delivery Partners Meeeting)
- Support in arranging meetings with the Milano Cortina 2026 Functions and/or with IOC/IPC
- If necessary, provide support the PNC Project Managers in developing detailed sub-schedules to ensure the timely achievement of specific PNC projects
- Constantly liaise with the Project Managers of the Project Coordination Area, in order to ensure an appropriate flow of information and to align all the Functions involved in delivering a specific project/activity
- Support the Head of Planning and Coordination in back-office and coordination activities

**Requirements**:

- Educated to degree level
- Fluent in English
- Project management skills
- 1-2 years of working experience (Preferable major sport events and/or sport organizations)
- Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary working environment
- Strong learning attitude
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, open-minded, enterprising, and problem-solving attitude.
- Results-oriented, punctuality, and precision in activity delivery.

- Familiarity with the sports landscape.
