**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- for government agencies and commercial customers in the space industry. The Proposal Manager is typically engaged at the beginning of the Bid and Pursuit Phase and exits at Clarification stage.

The role requires a proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment, an ability to work with an highly standard of networking across the organization, under pressure and to challenging deadlines.

**WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO**
- Crafting detailed bid documentation by meticulously analyzing customer requirements, costs, utilizing client-centric narrative aligned to the proposed solution
- Manages proposal development from draft solicitation stage through final proposal revisions making sure the final package is compliant with the customer requirements
- Rewrites technical text as necessary for clarity, readability, and tone
- Enforces internal proposal deadlines and oversees the review and approval processes
- Fostering collaboration across the teams, including engineering, product management, pricing, finance, and risk assessment
- Manages a variety of proposals of lasercomm field

**YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROPOSAL MANAGER**
- University degree in Aerospace engineering or technical fields
- 2+ years of proposal experience, better in the aerospace industry or advanced technology development
- Attention to details and able to work with an high meticulous standard
- Proactive attitude
- Team work player
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple proposals also where the process and/or deliverable is nonstandard
- Ability to work successfully under time-sensitive deadlines and in fast-paced environments
- Experience with an industry standard proposal process

**THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE**
- Experience in formulating bids for ESA/ASI
- Knowledge of ECOS
- Knowledge of Lasercom or Quantum communications
