Engineering&Facilities Manager

Based in Italian subsidiary (Medolla, Mo), we offer you an exciting opportunity to take over a challenging role and contribute bringing our Eng&Facilities Management to the next level. You will be responsible for Eng&Facilities Management of the cell factory plant in Medolla supporting the development of actual systems towards service best in class and operational excellence in alignment with the company strategy.

Major Duties/ Responsibilities:

- Project management of all engineering and facilities streams (hard & soft services) in terms of cost and efficiency, budget, timelines, quality and regulatory compliance according to business guidelines
- Manage revamping and expansion projects from feasibility through design, construction, commissioning to qualification for GMP/GLP use within established budget and schedule
- Support quality function for CAPA, QI, Deviations, SOPs, Change Control
- Manage the implementation of preventive and reactive maintenance program ensuring that scientific equipment and technical plants work to its specifications and capacities
- Liase continuously with planning and operations to schedule interventions (maintenance and projects) in order to minimize impact on production capacity
- Actively work to ensure that the site financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets
- Point of contact and coordination with external contractors/suppliers operating on site, also for EHS matters (required DM81/08 training)
- Liaise with internal partner functions (EHS, QA, IT, Procurement, Finance, Logistics) for the coordination of service delivery to internal clients
- Assess safety, energy and environmental issues

Knowledge:

- Knowledge in engineering and facilities disciplines in pharmaceutical sterile plants
- Knowledge and ability to implement engineering solutions in accordance with Good Engineering Practices and in general with cGMP/cGLPs
- Knowledge in project management
- Proven ability in use of CAD, BMS/SCADA and CMMS software

Skills/Abilities:

- Demonstrated ability to handle a large portfolio of multiple and challenging projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results
- Well-organized, accurate, able to coordinate activities and anticipate potential problems; proven Team Player
- Good communication skills in Italian and English

Education/Experience:

- Engineering degree, or equivalent training/experience;
- Previous professional experience in similar functions
