Leasing Manager

**Overview**

Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Leasing Manager is responsible for preparing and executing the leasing strategies for the residential and offices business, maintaining contact with the Milan office leasing market and ensuring that occupiers are secured for each of our commercial office and residential schemes in accordance with the relevant business plans.

**Key Accountabilities**

As part of the Offices and Residential Development Business, the role is accountable to the projects to which the department is assigned to deliver the commercial leasing functions in accordance with the agreed scope of works and aspirations of the relevant project business plan.

Typically, the role will be accountable for the following;
- Maintaining close contact with the Milan office and residential leasing market, active tenant requirements, deal flow, rents and incentives being quoted and agreed, tracking and predicting trends
- Maintaining close contact with the Milan Agency community, key players and influencers and building relationships with leasing and tenant rep teams across the market
- Preparing leasing strategies at a project and plot specific level
- Providing advice on plot and building design to ensure our commercial office products are aligned to the current and anticipated future needs of the target tenant market
- Providing advice on the likely tenant profile and levels of demand for the different types of office product being designed and delivered
- Coordinating leasing and marketing activities, collateral and events related to the leasing and other general promotion of the project and specific buildings/spaces within the project
- Drawing in interest from our target tenant markets, building relationships and closing deals
- Producing reports and other supporting documentation and procuring external research to support the leasing initiatives at a plot and project level
- Delivering presentations and participating in panel discussions and other related industry events.

**Skills, knowledge and experience -Desirable and Essential (D/ E)**
- Professional Construction Qualifications relevant to the role (BSc or MSc in Project Management or Building / Construction Studies or Engineering) - E
- Have a related Chartership such as RICS - D
- Be active member of leading industry groups such as the BCO/NLA/Corenet (or Italian equivalent) - D
- Experience of dealing with Agents on a regular basis, appointments, management and leadership - E
- An in-depth knowledge of the Milan offices market (occupational) - E
- Demonstrates key leadership skills - E
- Flexibility and openness of approach and willingness to work as a team player - E
- Proven track record of delivering successful leasing projects - E
- Knowledge of current property and leasing laws, legislations, and regulations, standards and procedures - E
- Experience of project planning and resource allocation - E
- Management and mentoring of staff and development of skills - E
- Experience of dealing with clients, stakeholders, JV partners, lawyers and project consultants - E
- Experience of design advisory across major central Milan projects - E
- Must lead in the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) vision, both personal and organisational, to create an existence absent of incident and injury - E

- Experience in the execution of major pre-lettings in the central Milan office market - E
