**About the vacancy**

At our newly to be built cold store in **Ferentino** (near Rome) you will be responsible for the construction of our facility, you will be part of a multifunctional team and be connected with many colleagues in our global business.

The purpose of the job is to effectively manage the construction site team and maintain a level of professionality necessary to achieve the project goals within the allotted time, budget and requested quality. To create and develop a professional culture on site, in line with our values and ensure that a positive attitude to Health & Safety is embedded within the team on site. This position will be the main point of contact between the building site itself, Head Quarters in Breda, contractors and suppliers worldwide.

**What will you do?**
- Manage and maintain the high-level project deliverables
- Efficiently create and or manage the project budget and schedule
- Manage the design and procurement with support of headquarters in the Netherlands and the associated engineering companies
- Manage the local project team and the sub-contractors / suppliers
- Lead and organize Steering Committee meetings and the Project and site meetings
- Record and manage all project documentation
- Report regularly to the Management Team, and give the required input for reporting to the client and investorsMaintain effective and ongoing communication with all parties, including the dedicated project team, HQ in the Netherlands, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
- _Assisting other NewCold Operations, including:_
- _Support Business Development initiatives as and when required_
- _Share best practices and standards with colleagues at other Newcold sites, and join collaborative projects_
- _Continually look to opportunities for improvement_
- _Ensure proper handover from project to the operations phase_
- _Manage the permitting plan and the supplier management_

**Job requirements**

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for an experienced project professional _who is a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work well as an individual and in a team, with:_
- _- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an appropriate field of study - Engineering - Civil / Mechanical / Electrical_
- _- Deep knowledge of principals, practices and theories within their own profession discipline_
- _- _Excellent leadership skills and efficient time management skills
- _- Strong and current awareness of external market trends and best practices_
- _- Flexibility due to the international environment of the company_
- _**Willingness to be almost full time on the construction site in Italy (near Rome).**_
- _Expert knowledge of MS Office, MS Projects and AutoCAD_
- _**Speaking/writing fluent in the English and the Italian language.**_Desirable:_
- _- Experience with automated material handling installations_
- _- Working knowledge of the implementation of a warehouse management system_
- _- Certificates relevant to Project Management_
- _- Experience working in “greenfield projects” with a value over € 40 Millions_

Contratto di lavoro: Tempo pieno

Retribuzione: €35.000,00 - €55.000,00 al mese

Orario:

- Dal lunedì al venerdì

Possibilità di pendolarismo/trasferimento:

- 03013 Ferentino, FR: Poter raggiungere agevolmente la sede lavorativa o avere intenzione di trasferirsi prima di iniziare il lavoro (Obbligatorio)

Istruzione:

- Laurea triennale (Preferenziale)

Esperienza:
