- market interests by providing useful and high-quality analysis about the “4Is”: interests/stakeholders, intelligence, institutions and issues; the second is understanding, evaluate and manage Health Economic assessments with a deep knowledge of the organization, the policies and the structure of the Italian National Healthcare System

**Responsibilities**:

- The internship supports Government Affairs Dept to identify risk (market access risk) and validate proposed outcomes metrics against customer and payer needs, and contributing to advocacy of the company towards institutional stakeholders.
- Supports the Government Affair Director in planning and conducting the company advocacy programs, analyze, and monitor all the legislative production at regional and national level in cooperation with lobbying agency, with a particular focus on healthcare issues, supports GA director preparation of documents related to healthcare economy, management, and policies, using HTA and political competencies
- Prepare under supervision Health Economic assessments: validating outcomes definition and unmet needs, opportunities to improve therapy decisions, volume and cost of current procedures, description of current standard of care based on literature reviews
- Produce disease maps with high-cost areas identified, cost-effectiveness of therapies, and description of current standard of care based on literature reviews, claims data, customer data, KOL advisory boards

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of High School education
- Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using PDA and computer skills.
- Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.
- Willing to occasionally travel outside of assigned region.
- Proven experience performing in a compliance environment and working within code and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of devices.

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Health Economics or Management engineering or in Economy, preferred HTA courses or master present in the academic education career

**Desirable skills**:

- The ability to analyze policies, Pharmacoeconomics and legislative documents
