**COMPANY PROFILE**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
The buyer for Parts is responsible to negotiate the best purchasing conditions on the assigned perimeter- assuring stock availability in the warehouse to avoid shortages
- supporting functions for new product launch initiatives while developing and implementing cost reduction and sourcing strategies, leading to improve supplier’s performances as timely delivery and quality
- approach by priority based on various reports (economical/operative), negotiations on prices to gain competitive advantages, introduce long-term agreements, market test and resource business

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assure robust management of the assigned perimeter by defining the Strategy and by keeping robust communication within the Supply Base
- Acquire and develop technical & business deep understanding on the assigned perimeter: Cost breakdown model, Cost benchmarking model, deep understanding of technical content
- Monitor operational and economical Supplier's performances
- Supports other Dept’s in supplier escalations to avoid disruptions to the business
- Award business to pursue the defined Strategy based on Total Acquisition Cost approach
- Negotiates contractual terms regarding quantity, price, delivery, quality, packaging, freight routings and other standard or special contract terms
- Coordinates with accounts payable and receiving departments to resolve any credit holds or pricing issues ensuring prompt payment to avoid supply chain disruptions
- Keep reports updated to track activities

**QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Short/master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business or Supply Chain preferred
- Fluent English. Business Italian and/or French will be appreciated
- Proactive Aptitude
- Good communication skills and Teamwork orientation
- Sense of initiative and driven by Customer oriented approach
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and discontinuity
- Negotiation skills to achieve results
- Excellent knowledge in Excel and Office package
- Driven by analytical approach
