Technical Program Manager

Resideo is looking for a **solution-driven Technical Program Manager **to be part of a development team assessing and driving achievement of program-specific performance within Resideo OEM and Partner Solutions mainly focused on **expanding the Heat Pump business globally **. This position is **part of the Residential Thermal Solutions **business unit, is **classed as a hybrid **, and will **sit in Monza, Italy.**

**JOB DUTIES**:
Leverage strong engineering background to partner with business leaders to analyze and collectively manage current and proposed projects and budgets based on numerous key characteristics both business and technology related. Will be instrumental in creating a prioritized project deck with the objective to determine the optimal resource mix for delivery and to schedule activities/projects to best achieve an organization’s operational and financial goals while honoring constraints imposed by customers, strategic objectives, or external factors. Ensure project execution is utilizing the pool of resources to the highest efficiency. As a business partner, you will create and maintain a portfolio execution dashboard that tracks project, resource, and budget status. Use your strategic thinking to help establish and implement direction for new business opportunities, products, and processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Direct all phases of Heat Pump Control programs and key projects from inception through market launch.
- Drive for meeting targets on cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts for the overall program.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions.
- Lead resource analysis and forecasting by the project for all cross-functional resources including marketing, engineering, sourcing, etc.
- Identify potential risks and issues, make and implement recommendations to management when escalation is required.
- Coordinate customer contact for program activities, facilitating program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in the EMEA organization to effectively identify and resolve major technical issues or other program issues and take ownership for driving these issues to closure
- Develop and communicate metrics around program execution across the programs managed.

**YOU MUST HAVE**:

- Several years of work experience as a project manager, program manager, and/or any technical function with the majority in a product development environment.
- Fluent English and advanced Italian language knowledge.
- Capability to interact with external and internal stakeholders in defining heat pump components' requirements, both technical and business-related, and capability to manage complex projects and drive cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to drive change
- Bachelor in electronic/mechatronic or mechanical engineering or similar education
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)

**WE VALUE**:

- Experience in managing complex projects or multiple projects combined into a program with demonstrated success is a plus
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Quality, Finance, and Operations) is a plus
- Basic financial knowledge ( budget definition and management, project financial evaluation, etc.)
- Experience with legal and environmental regulation in Heat Pump is a plus
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage
