**MISSION**

The Leather Goods Quality Inspector is responsible to revise finished products (LLG,SLG,BELTS) rejected by logistic portal quality check, to ensure that quality requirements for finished products are constantly met.

The Finished Products Quality Inspector interfaces on a regular basis with Production Dept., Industrialization Technicians and Manufacturers regarding quality issues. He / She also trains and supports manufacturers in their production steps from leather cutting criteria to final quality check of production batches before shipment to logistic portal in order to optimize their performance.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Reporting of rejected products at Logistic Portal**

He/She 100% checks the products rejected by logistic portal quality check, in order to evaluate quality deviation and establish how to proceed for each single product

He/She edits final rejected pcs weekly report informing production dept. and manufacturers regarding quality performance

He/She aligns Manufacturers and Industrialization Technicians on quality results for continuous improvement and reduction of quality rejection.
- **Manufacturers Quality Performance Reporting**

He / She has to maintain an Excel file with weekly Quality Performance Analysis to be shared with Maison Team for further analysis and actions of improvement
- **Weekly visit to Manufacturers for Production quality follow up and second choice revision**

When requested He/She should visit Manufacturers alone or with Industrialization Technicians in order to

have continuous improvement training to reach a better-quality performance
- **Participation of development / industrialization Meeting for novelties leather/finished products quality panoplies definition**

Works hand-in-hand with leather expert and quality engineer during preseries phases in order to be aligned on quality guidelines and Maison’s requirements.

He/she is in charge to define the panoply of quality criteria for leather and finished products (color variations, acceptable visible defects and placement on product) for each new collection / product

He/she validates with quality management, development and marketing the proposed panoply and replicates panoply for all partners involved in the collection (tannery/supplier, manufacturer, internal quality and logistics platform).
- **Participation to Maison’s daily Meeting for collection performance follow up and Priority Activities definition**

He/She has to participate to Maison daily meeting in order to be involved on the production launch performance and receive a list of priority activities in order to better organize the daily job and visits to manufacturers
- **Minimum requirements**:

- Good knowledge of Excel
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in Leather Products quality control
