The Finance department is responsible for the production of regulatory reporting, financial accounting and disclosures both for local and group reporting.

The responsibilities of this role mainly consist in the preparation, review, and submission of timely and accurate regulatory reports to the local regulator Bank of Italy.

This includes supporting various regulatory reporting processes such ensuring the reconciliation with financial reporting, understanding of regulation framework, dealing with internal / external control functions and the local regulator, maintaining a robust control environment and providing a valuable regulatory - financial insights. Additionally, this role will support key change initiatives across the Italian regulatory reporting environment and will work closely with Finance teams in Germany and Pune.

Key Responsibilities are:

- Preparation, review and submission of regulatory statistical reports to Bank of Italy
- Conduct root-cause analysis on queries raised by regulator or stakeholders both from methodology and data point of view
- Interaction with various internal and external stakeholders (i.e. regulatory relations, legal, compliance, audit and business operations)
- Support the process for capital, liquidity and financial regulatory reporting (i.e. own funds, RWAs, LCR, NSFR, FINREP)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting policies and procedures
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly analytics and variance analysis providing insights
- Assist in the implementation of regulatory report tools, report preparation and corresponding controls processes

Experience/ Exposure / Education
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including attention to details
- Strong communication skills, including ability to interact successfully with external stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills, aligned with excellent attention to time management
- Ability to develop analytical tools to produce analysis within Microsoft Office package
- (preferred) Understanding of regulatory reporting framework within a Banking environment
- Degree in financial discipline
