We're hiring for a**Customer Technology Specialist**
Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture.
You will be responsible for supporting sales, transfering knowledge and leading the acceptance process of Corteva solutions in the local market.
**Your Challenge**:
- SALES
- Define potential sales targets in the short and medium terms (ASM, Category Manager)
- Identify Customers' needs (Sales)
- Technical positioning of products and setting of operative tools at LOCAL level (Category Manager, Sales, IFS)
- Implement local launch and development activities to support products demand (Category Manager, Sales)
- Second line of reaction to Customers claims - reactive approach - but most of all train sales to be a fisryt reaction line - proactive approach (Sales)
- KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
- Technical area reference for the main crops present in the assigned territory (Sales)
- Responsible for technical training of sales team (Sales)
- Support sales force in programming and executing meetings with key accounts (structured Customers, opinion leader ) (Sales)
- Prepare and organize technical and scientific local events to support business strategy (Sales)
- PORTFOLIO ACCEPTANCE
- Introduce and keep Corteva solutions in the National Guidelines (LGN) of Integrated Pest Management Practices (Category Manager, IFS, Regulatory)
- Establish solid relationships with opinion leading farmers, private consultants, producers associations, etc (Sales)
- Actively participate to LCPT to define labels as aligned as possible to market needs and to correctly position Corteva solutions (Category Manager, IFS, Regulatory, Food Chain)
- Implement strategies to promote acceptance of Corteva solutions in accordance with commercial structures (Category Manager)
- Monitor and structure and information network on GDO private initiatives (Food Chain, Category Manager, Sales)
- Be ambassador of Food Connext program in the area to introduce and keep Corteva solutions in the positive lists (Food Chain, Category Manager)
- Systematically detect pest management evolution in the area (Sales, Category Manager, IFS)
- Manage local activity in order to support emergency use requests (Category Manager, IFS)
**Key Stakeholders and Interactions**:
- Internal: Sales leadership Italy, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, IFS, Food Chain
- External: opinion leading farmers, academics, commercial partners (technical contact), consultants
**Qualifications**:** To Grow What Matters, You Will Need**
- Medium or High degree in Agriculture Sciences
- Knowledge on Marketing Techniques
- Minimum of five years working in commercial Organization
- PC user
- Wide knowledge of the agriculture distribution system
- Agronomy and product knowledge
