Are you the experienced Freight Solutions Specialist / Freight forwarder and looking for the next chapter in your career ?

You will be responsible to set up a new customer focused division within Samskip Multimodal Freight Solutions, based in our office in Milano (Cernusco Sul Naviglio)

As an experienced Freights solution specialist, you'll play a crucial role in developing our Italian/pan European network to support our European Customers. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will build a reliable alternative door to door solution, whereby reliability, transit time and cost control are your focus.
- Samskip will offer our valued customers a one stop shop solution, whereby we can even take over full control of their logistics
- Our core asset driven business will be supported by this new division.
- You will ensure additional capacity is secured in the market.
- Our team of experts will manage the orders using group owned and fixed subcontracted resources.
- The quality of service offered needs to be best of class and you love to solve operational issues.
- You will address service issues, identify new opportunities, suggest service
- or cost improvements.

Qualifications:

- We are looking for an entrepreneurial driven expert with a drive to grow the business.
- European Short-sea, Rail and Road experience.
- Strong sales / procurement skills.
- Customer focused team player.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor degree in logistics or proved experience.
- English is our company language (others are welcome).
- Good analytics skills and discipline
- International network of logistic partners to support our ambitions.
