**Role Summary**:
The type of projects this position will work include New Product Development, Design to Value, Rationalization and/or Technology Development projects.

- Perform end-to-end project management activities on R&D projects from initiation until project closeout, ensuring compliance of project execution with Flowserve polices.
- Ensure the completeness of a business case justifying each project, and a project charter to define the scope of the project.
- Ensure a high quality of requirements definitions, and that Phase Gate Reviews or Agile/Scrum sprints are conducted according to the standard expectations of the company policy.
- For assigned projects, act through the project core team to define and manage the scope, schedule, resources, budget, deliverables, risks, issues, and project documentation.
- Provide strategic support to project teams as well as tactically handle the day-to-day project execution and related communications.
- Develop detailed project schedules using scheduling software upon project approval.
- Identify the project resources and reserve the respective resources for the project.
- Monitor project progress and keep the project schedule updated.
- Negotiate changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.
- Present and advising leadership and/or business executives at the highest levels about the status and issues of assigned projects

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in STEM field.
- PMP Certification and/or Certified Scrum Master (cSM) highly desirable.
- 5 years of total project management experience in the manufacturing, industrial or R&D environment.
- At-least 3 years of phase gated or Agile/Scum product development process.
- At-least 1 year of experience utilizing project management software in at least one of the following: Planview, Clarity, or Primavera.
- Proficient in the use of MS Project.
- Experience working with industrial pumps is highly desirable
- Approximately 10% Domestic or International travel required within EMA region
