Training Officer

Local Unit & Position Description: **The Training Officer** reports to the Training & Personnel Certification Delivery Manager Italy. The position is based in Milan (Vimercate) and local conditions apply. The contract is temporary. The "Training Delivery Department" has the task of providing training activities for DNV customers belonging to the country of Italy. It is currently made up of 4 resources, who deal with the development and design of courses, trainers management and management of classroom, remote and e-learning courses. Furthermore, the department manages the certification of specific professional figures. Italy Training Department wants to be a trusted choice for DNV customers that aim to evolve in the sustainable management of their business, through the growth of the potential of their people. **Our mission is**: - Provide a broad range of training services to contribute to the investment in the professional future, ensuring strength and self-esteem to people and competitive advantages for Organizations that want to grow and evolve through the potential of people. - Translate theoretical and complex knowledge into simple and practical concepts. - Leave nothing to chance but committing to ensure that DNV Training is perceived as a real quality investment for our clients, and not as a cost. **In work you will**: - develop and support public training activities in accordance to DNV policies, procedures and instructions; - support the design of Personnel Certification activities. **The major areas of responsibility are**: - Delivery of Public training activities in accordance with DNV procedures and policies. - Ensure and improve effectiveness and efficiency of public training delivery processes. - Manage and maintain a constructive relationship with trainers. - Book & plan trainers. - Manage training material - Support the upgrade of Learning Management platform, update the internal database. - Support the design of Personnel Certification activities in accordance with DNV procedures and policies.
