You will be a key contributor to SiC Technology volume ramp-up in ST as part of the Industrial Engineering team of the new SiC Campus in Catania.
Main Activities of the IE team:
- Create and maintain the Fab capacity model to be used for production control and Industrial Eng purposes (layout, capacity figures, material routing, etc.)
- Provide Line Capacity data for Corporate Planning/Costing systems
- Monitor Fab performance by KPI management and develop the most efficient strategies to maximize the productivity of people, machines, materials (OEE, Cycle Time Improvement, WIP & material management )
- Evaluate equipment requirements for Capacity investments
- Contribute to the automation solutions
- Work closely with manufacturing planning, production, engineering and quality to achieve output delivery performance and manufacturing efficiency
**COMPETENCES**:
- Master or Bachelor's degree ideally in Management Engineering or equivalent with experience in IE activities in manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Open mindedness and ability to drive change
- Strong team working skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite/ Be very proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of Project Management principles
- Skills on Programming languages/Autocad/Data Analysis/Simulations tools is a plus
- Knowledge of Lean/Agile methods and techniques is a plus
