NORVENTO selects a Technical Director (Italy) to join the Operations Business Unit, leading the execution of a solar PV EPC project for a glass manufacturer in the coming 14 months. As such, he will act as NORVENTO’s technical representative in Italy in coordination with the legal, operations and engineering teams at NORVENTO and the Client.

Main responsibilities:

- Represent the company as Technical Director for company activities carried out in Italy, for a 5 MW solar PV project.
- Supervise and oversee the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors.
- Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety.
- Check and prepare site reports (designs and drawings if needed).
- Maintain quality control procedures.
- Assist the BU in negotiating contracts.
- Assess and minimize overall risk throughout project completion.

Professional profile:

- Al least bachelor's degree in engineering related to the renewable energy sector released by a state or legally recognized university in Italy.
- 3 years of previous relevant professional experience in leading and execution solar PV projects above 1 MW in Italy.
- Advanced level of office suite.
- Proficiency in English.
- Autocad.

Desired:

- Relevant experience in the construction industry, planning and permitting.
- Good communication skills.
- Spanish.
