Key Objective:
We are looking for a Technical Director who is going to be appointed as RUP as per D. Lgs. 50/2016 and subsequent ANAC guide line n. 3 for part of a large project located in Segrate (Milan-Italy)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
The Technical Director (TD) will act as “Responsabile Unico del Procedimento” (RUP) for Public Tenders as described in the D. Lgs. 18th April 2016 n. 50, article 31 and in the Linee guida n. 3 approved by ANAC (Autorita’ Nazionale Anticorruzione)

The TD will be involved in the whole process of public works designs and construction. Reporting directly to Project Director and will be in charge of design supervision and validation process during the design phase, of bid documents drafting/approval, analysis of administrative documentation and support to the Award Committee checking technical documentation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the execution phase of the works also supervising DL/CSE activities.

Drafts tender documents

Oversees the tender procedure

Management of the Public procurement platforms

Reviews of the relevant documentation

Provide support to Award Committee for technical docs analysis during award phase

Execution phase

Wholely responsibile for Public Highways construction works contract management

Supervise and coordinate the Direzione dei Lavori ( DL ) and Coordinatore Sicurezza in fase di Esecuzione ( CSE) activities

Monitor works progress status in terms of time, cost, quality of performance and risk control

Authorise amendments of procurement contracts, approves new prices, basing on DL ( direttore dei lavori )report

Allow costs payment to the contractor, basing on DL( direttore dei lavori ) report

Imposes to Contractor penalties for delay

Adopt necessary measures resulting from DL and CSE reporting

Resolve disputes between the contracting authority and the company

Carry out all bureaucratic procedures related to works completion of and testing

Maintain stakeholder relationships

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

- Master degree in civil engineering would be prefrable
- Extensive experience as RUP in public works (preferably infrastructures/roads works) according to Italian Code.
- Qualification as CSE will be advantageous
- Good English is required
