**Global Corporate & Commercial **is the Generali Group unit developing P&C business and insurance services for medium and large companies. The unit acts on a global scale and deploys an integrated approach at Group level with a central management team and specialized teams active in individual countries. Through GC&C, Generali aims to become a key world player in the corporate-commercial segment.

We are looking for a **Technical Underwriting Governance** Lead** in Milan to join the GC&C Technical Analysis & Portfolio Management team.

The role holder is accountable for driving forward various aspects of the Underwriting governance of GC&C, including ensuring alignment with the GC&C and Group Underwriting Governance requirements, as well as adjusting the technical framework of GC&C to include governance items in the tools of processes of GC&C, to prevent authority breaches, compliance violations, etc.

Main responsibilities include:
**Insurance governance and compliance**
- Driving forward the alignment of the structure of the UW governance framework (UW guidelines, UW authorities, etc.) across GC&C.
- Jointly with different function, compliance, CBRM, align technical governance framework with strategy and execution capabilities
- Jointly with all OPS, driving forward technical implementation of the governance within the tools and processes of GC&C, e.g. automated compliance and UW authorities checks, e.g. sanctions checks, black listed companies, etc.

**Data collection and reporting**
- Running regular and ad hoc checks and collecting exposure information from the countries on adherence to the compliance and UW guidelines.
- Creation regular and ad hoc reports for the GC&C Management, GC&C Underwriting (global and local) and Group requests.
- Running regular trainings to the UW community to assure fair and proper execution of the governance topics.

**Data, Governance & Control**
- Maintaining guidelines & technical measures throughout GC&C in the respective areas of responsibility.
- Aligning with the Group stakeholders to make sure GC&C is consistently aligned with all Group Governance dimensions.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:

- University Graduate / Post graduate
- Experience in P&C insurance, preferably Underwriting
- Experience in the technical Underwriting area is a plus
- Experience in Corporate & Commercial exposure is a plus

- Strong analytical and data skills
- Ability to work with multicultural project teams and to foster a good work environment
