**About the role**
Within the Coesia Engineering Center (CEC) - a cross-functional engineering transformation department - we are looking for a collaborative and empathetic Design To Cost Specialist.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Managing costs in projects: In the role you will perform cost assessments of newly designed components, definition of material cost estimates and project production times;
- The analysis of technical documentation and project specifications: Analysis and development of mechanical studies for the identification of alternative and competitive technical solutions;
- To work closely with both Technical and Purchasing department to ensure the most cost-effective vs. technical-effective solution.
**What you need to be successful**
- High School Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics;
- A collaborative and empathethic approach: Being a Design to Cost Specialist means to be a part of a Center of Expertise which aims is to support Coesia Companies Technical Departments in making their work as much aligned with cost target as possible.
