Technical Support Manager

The Technical Data Desk manages requests from vessels’ crew and internal departments/desks in regards of data collection/ entry/ maintenance into Fleet management software - BASSnet. Maintaining digital filing system ELO in regards of the needs of Fleet Department.
- Support our Superintendents in the process of collecting and maintaining and entering data in our fleet management software BASSnet
- Record requests and information (i.e. relevant machinery details) from our vessels’ crew and internal departments and capture all necessary data in our BASSnet system
- Once entered in the system, track the processing of data and evaluate if further actions is needed to improve the data quality
- Continuously checking existing data for consistency and plausibility
- Maintain of our digital filing system - ELO. Coordinate topics around this system within internal departments and external parties including receiving paper documents and coordination digitalization
- Provide further administrational assistance to our Superintendents as needed

**What you bring along**:

- Ideally you have practical experience in systematically collecting data in a management software
- You have already worked in a fleet department of a shipping company or alternatively you are willing to use our on-the-job training to build up a basic technical knowledge
- Good command in English (spoken and written)
- You demonstrate high ability to concentrate as well as a precise and structured way of working
- You are well organized, flexible and self-confident
- Specific prior knowledge of BASSnet is of advantage but not a must
