**Junior Financial Accountant**

Treatwell is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant who will work within the Italian Finance team and support their daily activities. This role will be responsible for managing the Italian accounts, executing the administrative task, and collaborating with the group companies’ administrative departments. We are looking for a strong team player and a results-driven person.

You will have the opportunity to work in an international department and support the financial activities inside an international and fast-growing company. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to develop and grow within a dynamic team.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Prepare VAT declaration and statutory reports (VAT, Intrastat, F24, Withholding taxes)
- Prepare and control Intercompany transactions
- Book and process income, expenses, payroll and all other financial figures
- Manage relationships with third parties such as labor consultants and auditors
- Help the office organization: supplies, travel, expense claims etc.
- Evaluate current operations to identify and implement process improvements.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements for intern and external auditors

**About you**:

- 1+ years of accounting experience (Accounting consultant experience in a dynamic business will be a plus)
- You have a problem solving attitude
- Strong understanding of Local Accounting Standards and VAT Tax rules
- Good knowledge and hands-on of Excel
- You are enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- You are highly organized and able to work both in team and independently
- You are a good team player
- Fluent Italian and English - both written and spoken
