**Job Description Summary**: The P&W & Honeywell Program Director will be responsible to transversally coordinate Avio Aero Functions in order to guarantee operational performance and excellence in the execution of Pratt & Whitney USA, Pratt & Whitney Canada & Honeywell programs, in terms of production and spare parts OTD, margins achievement, product recurring cost respect, technical and contractual requirements achievement.

In your role you will work in tight connection with the representatives of all Functions in the Program teams through the Avio Aero operating rhythm tracking the progresses with the proper KPI’s

**Essential Responsibilities**
- To be the main point of reference for Customer, developing a lasting relationship with them based on mutual trust, making sure that the progress of the programs meets their requirements and expectations and promoting, for this purpose, an effective and proactive collaboration with all the involved functions
- To identify and define the risk profile of the program highlighting the magnitude of the critical risks, determining appropriate control and mitigation actions.
- To maintain update the program business plans and use them to monitor and drive the program profitability
- To manage program and product modifications through a rigorous Phase and Gate process up to assuring the release in production with the successful achievement of the Gate F9 and of the Production Readiness Review.
- To lead Program Control Board to drive through the Company all main program initiatives
- To support ITO for new commercial initiatives where the contribution of Program Management is required
- To guarantee the Company that all activities are carried out in the respect of the Customer Assurance Agreement with Pratt & Whitney
- To support his / her team members in their career growth in terms of hard and soft competences growth accordingly to the OTR competences model

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Previous multi years experience in Program Management in Program Director positions or equivalent
- Previous experience in managing similar product portfolio in terms of size and complexity
- Good knowledge of aeronautical production systems, of main drivers for quality, delivery and cost
- Contract & Risk Management
- Good knowledge of aeronautical product life cycle
- Problem solving and priorities management
- Previous experience as People Leader and team management
- Strong and effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong Negotiation ability
- Strong influencer, results oriented, change agent
- Collaborative team working style
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

**Desired Characteristics**
- Familiarity with Aviation Products and in particular with mechanical transmissions (Accessory Drive Trains and Power Gearboxes), and Low Pressure Turbines for aviation engines;
- Knowledge of both Civil and Military Customers
- Commercial experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Six Sigma training
- Lean training
- Previous familiarity with complex contractual arrangements as Risk Revenue and Sharing ones
- PM Certification
