Midsummer Italia is now preparing to start up the production facility in Bari and are currently looking for a Sales Manager.

**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the solar energy sector.
- Develop and expand the Italian market (and possibly also the Spanish and the Portuguese market customer base for solar modules; achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Break down company sales objectives into actionable plans; implement, monitor, and evaluate performance.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments including production and technical teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and relevant policy changes; provide timely internal feedback to support strategic decisions.
- Represent Midsummer Italia at major industry exhibitions and summits; strengthen brand visibility and build relationships with potential customers.
- Lead the sales team of three junior sales assistants

**Requirements and skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering
- 3 - 5 years of sales experience in the photovoltaic sector and of solar panel sales or solar product industry is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of the Photovoltaic market and the dynamics of the B2B distribution
- Excellent understanding of technical products with a technical background from sales
- Proven ability to independently develop and manage client accounts; excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong understanding of international solar energy policies, market trends, product demands, and industry standards.
- Strongly goal-oriented and sense of initiative
- Minimum B2 level of English
- A big plus is knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese language and market
