**Field Director**

Location: Milan, Italy/Remote

We are looking for an experienced Field Director to manage and lead fieldwork services; could this be the role for you?

**The role**

You will play a dynamic role in taking the company forward, striving to build and maintain strong client relationships, and ensuring the viability of future business at the business unit and Group levels.

A strategic thinker, you will be responsible for business planning and increasing the company’s national commercial exposure through innovative and additional revenue streams. As a proven leader, you will inspire a growing team of talented project managers within your business unit and others across the globe.

You will conduct business in English and Italian, both in writing and verbally.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Set annual sales targets and meet targets with continued business development activities.
- Set business unit objectives for short, medium and long-term business planning.
- Accountable for business unit P&L.
- Accountable for client base growth and client retention.
- Implement business development plans and monitors the follow-up process.
- Regularly engages with clients outside project work via face-to-face meetings / TCs.
- Represent the company at industry events such as conferences and networking events.
- Brief teams on client needs and expectations and ensures these are applied throughout.
- Develop communication material for client pitches / new business opportunities.
- Attend client pitches, client kick-off meetings and project debriefs.
- Responsible for interviewing and hiring new staff.

Your qualifications and experience will include
- Proven experience in business development and growing client accounts.
- Experience in growing a high-performing team
- Able to network within the pharmaceutical industry and grow the position of Just Worldwide within the industry.
- Motivated and determined to grow and develop the team locally and support the global team in meeting company objectives.
