This role is a part of Dedalus’ Medical Office, led by the Chief Medical Officer and will also work as part of the company’s global clinical safety team.

Your Tasks
- Ensuring that solutions meet critical criteria in the reduction of clinical risks and are compliant with Dedalus’ global clinical safety assurance system and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain high quality laboratory solutions, working with the Research and Development elements of the Product Business Unit to provide clinical support the design, development, testing and post market elements of software development lifecycle
- Discuss with customers to understand their requirements and to enable them to contribute to the development of clinical content, workflows, and templates
- Providing expert input into the company’s current and developing laboratory systems
- Identifying safety risks, issues and opportunities for improvement during the early stages of product development
- Seeking to improve the overall product quality and end user experience
- Developing safety documentation in line with Dedalus global clinical safety policy
- Reviewing testing scenarios to ensure that the solution is rigorously tested from a clinical perspective (safety and effectiveness)
- Reviewing the outcome of testing, to ensure that where necessary functional issues are dealt with in the most efficient manner.
- Making escalations, where necessary, program or project risks and issues through the appropriate channels
- Providing clinical input to problem resolution in live systems

Your Profile
- Registerable qualification with a professional body or relevant up to date practice within healthcare
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory as a Doctor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Inclined and used to Team working
- Able to bring innovation and creativity to solutions
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to use data to improve product quality
- Detailed understanding of clinical end to end processes
- Broad understanding of the healthcare delivery and the ability to explain the function and structure of the service delivery to non-clinical people
- Provide guidance and support for non-clinical people to be able to understand the clinical hazards and impact assessments
- Good personal computer skills: MS Office is essential; Atlassian Jira/Confluence are welcome
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of Italian
- The knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as a plus
