We are now embarking on a new chapter of our journey that will further boost CMCC’s global position in climate change research Together **ROLE** The Risk Assessment and Insurance Expert will work in research projects focusing on climate insurance and services for climate-related financial risk disclosure. **REQUIREMENTS** - Background in or good knowledge and experience in environmental/resource/ ecological economics, sustainable business innovation, insurance, green finance, smart specialisation strategies, environmental accounts or similar themes; - Quantitative skills, including geospatial analysis (knowledge of programming in R and Python is not strictly required but would be an asset); - Very good knowledge of English (working language at CMCC/RAAS), knowledge of other foreign languages is an asset; - Experience and attitude towards interdisciplinary team working - Good communication skills - Strong problem-solving attitude **DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS** - Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally. - The Risk Assessment and Insurance Expert will be based in Venice CMCC office. - Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience. - Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract. - Flexible working time as per internal policies. - Support during the immigration process, if needed. **PROTECTED CATEGORY** Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
