Assessment report to the RAAS-Division Director and are responsible for research on risk and resilience assessment and modelling, with a specific focus on marine and coastal ecosystems and nature-based solution adaptation planning.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and application of multi-risk assessment methodologies to analyze the effect of climate change-related impacts on marine and coastal ecosystems (not limited to)Design and execution of nature-based solutions effectiveness frameworks and plans, including the collection, analysis, and interpretation of environmental and socio-economic data, staying updated with advancements in monitoring technologies, environmental regulations, and best practicesWriting and managing EU projects and tenders' proposalsContribution to scientific publication activities and dissemination actionsDrafting of scientific reports and technical documentation related to the developed solutionsParticipation in internal knowledge sharing and contribution to the team's collective expertiseStay up to date with the latest multi-risk related research, tools, and techniques, and apply cutting-edge methodologies to climate risk problemsRequirementsPhD in environmental science, environmental engineering, science and management of Climate Change or equivalent subjectsPrevious experience in conducting risk and climate change impact assessment, familiarity with research methods and literature on multi-risk assessment, climate risk management, climate change adaptation and resiliencePrevious experience in project management and acquisition of research fundsQuantitative skills (including GIS, handling of climate datasets in R, Python or other software environment)Excellent knowledge of the English languageGood
