This role is based in our office located in Santa Palomba - Pomezia (Rome) Italy.
The aim of the brand activation team is to ensure market-leading excellence in execution towards shopper and customer on Skin Health business (key brands are Aveeno, Aveeno baby, Neutrogena, Biafin) in mass, pharma and e-commerce channels.
**Essential Duties And Responsibilities**
**Develop and implement Local Brand Activation Plans**:
- Accountable for co-leading cross-functional impactful teams (both on local and international level), driving objectives and KPI’s delivery for mass business
- Accountable for developing & deploying annual Brand Activation Plans per brand for the Italian market (strategy, channel strategy, big initiatives & activation plans, priorities, pricing, NPIs, distribution targets, marketing budget, sales, profitability & market share targets per country, and other building blocks)
- Responsible & Accountable to ensure excellent in store execution per brand (must stock list for key initiatives, priority list, manage/develop & monitor in-store POP materials - national & tailor made per category & brand; planograms creation, updates, Category Management planning, execution of initiatives etc.)
- Own local brand activity overview and secure synchronization of consumer and shopper/trade activities
- Be informed about Media & Marketing Communication strategy and have consulting role in media process (media plan and communication brief, local adaptation of assets)
- Be responsible for the local BTL budget (BME). Input to budget process and target setting, tracking and any recommendations for investment shifts
- Be responsible and accountable for preparing content and assets for HCP Detailing, working on close partnership with Professional Marketing Lead
- Brands sell out monthly forecast and actively participate in the S&OP process
**Monitor the Market / Insights**:
- Be responsible and accountable for monitoring the tracking of competition and key agreed performance KPIs.
- Responsible for in-depth market analytics (market share tracking and sell-out results for brands and competition) and leading potential action plans to drive profitable growth.
- Be close to the market - ensure regular store visits to monitor the dynamics & emerging trends, competitors’ activations.
Ensure high quality of local adaptation for consumer & shopper marketing materials
- Have consulting role in artwork adaptation (mastertext and the final artwork validation, changes if needed)
- Coordinate adaptation of all digital & media assets (TV and digital campaigns, e-commerce, professional marketing, etc): from transcreation brief to the local approval
**Act as local presentative & work in close collaboration with international Cluster Marketing & Business Development Teams**:
- Represent local point of view in all sessions to drive business results.
- Facilitate best practice sharing
**Other features of the Job**
**Be key counterpart to local regulatory, marketing & supply chain teams**:
- End to End attitude, ensuring full understanding of areas interaction and impact in the brand plans execution and P&L target achievement.
- Provide feedback to cluster mkt on NPI/NPD (NTS, MS, GtN, WD, Price, BMEs, GP, cannibalization, presentation to Sales team,).
- Responsible and accountable for rolling Forecast and being aligned with Supply Chain for NPIs, OOS, Discontinuations, POP stock, procedures, promotions, slobs.
- Local portfolio management (agreed SKU-rationalization, phase-in and out)
**Qualifications**
**Essential Knowledge And Skills**:
- University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- At least 7 years working related experience in FMCG/CPG/Pharma industry with strong expertise and consistent track record in driving growth in Skin Care
- Good knowledge of Mass/Pharma channel dynamics
- Proficiency in English
