Product Development Manager Furs Shearling

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Act as a lead contact point and take responsibility for the development of the Furs, Shearling & Leatherwear collection;
- Participate in technical meetings with Style, modelling, production and development teams to move projects smoothly to next steps;
- Work on the development of the Furs, Shearling & Leatherwear Collection, coordinating the activities and resources involved in the sample process and monitoring samples production process;
- Manage the planning coordination and execution of projects from insights to briefs, through to design, development, costing and commercialization;
- Review all prototypes and market samples to ensure accuracy in execution;
- Participate during production and development fittings, communicating updated tech packs/specs to factories and following up to make sure adjustments are made timely;
- Lead relationships with suppliers and manufacturers on development projects and together with the production team provide feedback on all products
- Adhere to company’s product development calendar, tracking collection’s progress and solving issues in order to meet collection objectives and deadlines;
- Liaise with suppliers for the progress and return of developments within the scheduled dates and to find the best solution to work;
- Review all components with an eye for quality, and performance.

**Profile**:

- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role within Furs development, preferably in fashion luxury companies;
- University degree with emphasis on clothing;
- Strong knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes, fabrics, woven as well as garment specifications, fitting and pattern making;
- Passion for the product and attention to detail;
- Leadership and problem-solving attitudes;
- Capable of multi-tasking and coordinating different projects;
- Teamwork and ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Good level of English;
- Availability to travel in Italy.
