As a **Game Designer**, you will be responsible for designing and implementing game mechanics and systems that enhance the player experience. You will collaborate closely with artists, programmers, and other designers to bring our game visions to life while maintaining ownership of your features from inception through to release.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and refine character movements and abilities, ensuring they are smooth, responsive and engaging.
- Craft camera systems that enhance the action and maintain immersion.
- Design and prototype making expert use of Unreal Engine and Blueprint.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop 3C features that integrate seamlessly with the rest of the game.
- Conduct playtesting on your own features, digest feedback, and iterate on designs accordingly.
- Create detailed design documentation to clearly communicate ideas to the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in game design.
**Qualifications**
- Experience as designer with a strong focus on 3C features.
- Proven experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprint scripting.
- Strong understanding of game design principles, including gameplay mechanics, level design, and user experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Italian is preferred.
