**DESCRIPTION**:
Eastpak & JanSport are looking for an exceptional Intern, Marketing to join our Marketing team based in Milan, Italy. This is a 6-month internship.

**LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Eastpak & JanSport_Marketing Italy & CH Intern will support the local Marketing Manager in translating centrally devised Brand and Marketing Strategies into localized activations that reinforces Brand equity, communicates key messages and stories, and supports the Go to Market plan of the local Sales teams. You will support the execution of the above plan via a mix of Account & Brand Marketing, Advertising, PR and consumer-facing activations. You will support the local sales teams of both countries to set Retailer plans that deliver against sales targets, and with the local VM teams to ensure that we translate the same messages and plans onto the s hop floor or retailer ecommerce sites.

**HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**:
Support the execution of all Trade marketing activities for Eastpak & JanSport across Italy & Switzerland, with a focus on retailer initiatives to drive performance, and in line with local GTM plans

Ensure close cooperation with the local sales managers, teams and agents in the regions, in order to give clear and effective marketing to support retailer sell-through

Collaborate with VM team to deliver against their specific in-store goals; to maximise opportunities with Windows and POS support, and to create a consistent brand message across all retail touchpoints

Work with PR agency

Keep track of results, analyses and provide fully comprehensive reports of Eastpak & JanSport Marketing activities in both region

**WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?**:
Knowledge: by the end of internship the intern will have acquired knowledge on:
Implementation of local GTM process

Plan and deploy marketing initiatives

Planning and execution of Account & Brand Marketing activations for a Country

External partner relationship management

Set Retailer plans that deliver against sales targets

Work with different internal and external stakeholders
Organizational skills: by being empowered and responsible from the very beginning on supporting the implementation of local marketing activations following the Brand marketing global plan from A to Z

Interpersonal skills: by working in an international environment interacting with people with different nationalities and cultural/professional backgrounds. And managing relationship with PR agency, VM agency, Event partners in the Country

**SKILLS FOR SUCCESS**:
To succeed in this role, you:
Good organizational skills and ability to manage a project from start to finish with mínimal supervision

Highly effective communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and external partners

Creativity and resourcefulness in developing and executing engagement plans, communication campaigns, events etc.

Language skills: Fluency in Italian & English
An educational background in Economics, Management, Marketing, Fashion Business or related studies is a plus.
