Role Overview
- Solvay is increasing its resources dedicated to the emerging hydrogen sector, including efforts in- development of ionomers (polymers with ionic properties) for H2 production (electrolysis), H2
- conversion (fuel cells) and energy storage (flow batteries). We are seeking a capable technician with
- experience in electrochemical devices with following responsibilities:
- Support ionomer formulation and coating development activities for cast and impregnated

membranes making.- Support ink formulation and coating development activities for electrodes preparation.
- Execute electrochemical testing on fuel cells, water electrolysis and flow batteries according

to the defined procedures.- Support the definition of new testing protocols, including performance and durability, for

membrane and electrode in fuel cell, water electrolysis and flow batteries.- Collect and report data results in dedicated files and data base
- Support failure analysis and post mortem evaluation of membrane and electrode.
