**Clarification from the agency**:
U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. **Duties**:

- This is an developmental position leading to the full performance level as described in PD #AK008 for the Recreation Assistant. Assignments are selected to ensure the development of skills and abilities needed to perform the target level duties.
- Completes a prescribed agenda of formal/informal classroom and on-the-job training and self-development as set forth in the individual Training Development Plan.
- The employee works under closer than normal supervision wherein work is closely reviewed and detailed guidance provided. As employee progresses, supervisory control diminish until full performance level is reached.
- In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.

- Must be able to work rotating shift, to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Official No-Fee Passport and Mission VISA. Mission Soggiorno required.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and shift work. Facility hours are 0530 and as late as 2030. Rotating schedule.
- At management's request, the incumbent may be non-competitively promoted after one year of satisfactory performance.

**PCS Costs**
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

**Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials**
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. **_If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._** Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
- Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

**Incentives and Bonuses**
- Incentives will not be paid.

- Allowances, differentials, or incentives will not be paid.
