**Duties**: - Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager. - Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. - Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. - Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material. - Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. - Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. - A one year probationary period may be required. - Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty. - Mission Soggiorno - Official No-Fee Passport and Mission VISA - Citizenship eligible under country SOFA Agreement - Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15j. to include a Tier 1 background investigation. - Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service. - Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. - Duty hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
