Process Innovation and Standardization Specialist

**Role purpose**:
The position requires skills and competences to grasp and amplify the benefits of operating within Vodafone's international One Tech Team, bringing value within the organization.
- Contribute to define plans and guidelines to scale-up the Deployment Services model to other countries
- Promote and accelerate the standardization of processes and maximize synergies and control on ND activities that can be performed regardless of the location, and that are common to many/all countries
- Contribute to Drive the optimization of network Deployment processes through joint work of international teams with specific expertise
- Promote the spread of automation and the digitalization of processes (Group Digital Program) so as to reduce the operational effort and achieve greater efficiency in deployment in the individual markets
- Share skills, knowledge and best practices, contributing to the continuous development of vertical centers of excellence
- Promote a continuous improvement of Network Deployment Operating Model, maximizing proximity between who is accountable for developing services and the served customers

The Process Innovation and Standardization Specialist works in the Deployment Services team, that is responsible of the mobile and fixed access network Low Level Design.

The activities of access network deployment must be carried out taking into account and in compliance with:

- priorities and monthly allocation defined in the Planning phase
- agreements with the served customers and associated KPIs and SLA
- agreements in place with the Tower Company which owns the infrastructure
- other tenants collocated on the structure, related deployment plans and agreements with Tower-Company owner
- guidelines on hardware configurations and architectural solutions defined by the Engineering team for the different vendors
- procedures, timing and constraints of national legislation in the TLC sector, in the various countries, to build and activate TLC systems
- technical feasibility based on existing structural constraints and on restrictions imposed by national and local sector regulations

**Accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Contribution to the standardization and digitalization of Network Deployment processes of the access network and to the implementation of automation to allow better operational efficiency
- Drive innovation in NW Development and accelerate digitization and automation to increase quality and consistency while reducing operating costs
- Propose solutions to harmonize and standardize key processes leveraging on expertise and knowledge of ND people in different countries in order to maximize best practices’ adoption across countries and continuous improvement through learning from each other
- Contribute to the harmonization of databases and tools functional to the Network Deployment

**Key performance indicators**:

- Promote the spread of automation and the digitalisation of processes
- Guarantee compliance with priorities, monthly schedules and the assigned budget, as per the annual plan and monthly plan for the development of the access network
- Ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs of the existing deployment services contract

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Knowledge of 2G/4G/5G technologies, Microwave (MW) connectivity and fiber (FTTx) connectivity solutions
- Knowledge of the access network counters and of the KPIs that measure the continuity and quality of the service perceived by the customer
- Experience and knowledge of the telecommunications market of different countries
- Experience working in multi-matrix organizations, sharing company results and plans, analyzing performance highlights of each business unit and promote cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing contexts and markets

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- High-level degree in telecommunications
- 10/5+ years of experience within the Network function
- 3/1+ at least in a senior role
- 3/1+ at least in a role trasversal to the company organisation
