**Assistant Underwriter Japanese Business - Italy**

**Description**:
As Assistant Underwriter for our agency business - Italy based in Milan you will be employed by our legal entity Tokio Marine Europe S.A. Rappresentanza Generale per l’Italia, that trades under the Tokio Marine HCC name.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review renewal and present the information with his/her observations in a clear manner to the Underwriting team (loss ratio analysis, performance of the account, global client relation analysis, gather the information of specific queries on the account (consider changes on renewal)
- Assist in preparing reports and monthly closing summaries
- Ensure responses to brokers are timely
- Maintaining the database up-to-date
- Follow up/maintain the renewal portfolio and related documentation
- Give instructions to the Administration team to process policies/endorsements via the system (POF) and ensure adequacy of relevant documents
- Guarantee data quality checks
- Collect info and liaise with Compliance when required

**Requirements**:

- Basic understanding of J Lines of Business (Property, Casualty and Marine)
- Fluent in Italian and English, additional languages a plus
