**In The Role**

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a team of experts working on our programs (SE, QA, or DS&BIA together). You will improve the team’s workflows, revise the quality of work of each teammate, and guide the team towards achieving outstanding results.

It is essential to be skilled in formulating and delivering constructive feedback to your reports. A lot of experts work with us on part-time and project basis, so your biggest challenge will lie in balancing the team’s shifting capacity while also developing long and trusting relationship with each expert. You will also work on optimizing internal processes to create the best product for our students.

Operations Manager: Test Assignment

**Requirements**:

- You have 2-3 years of experience in program management, project management or production.
- You worked as a team manager or a mentor to more junior teammates for at least 1 year, and can show that the work of your reports/mentees improved under your impact.
- You worked on developing processes in client-facing teams and know a good deal about providing a great service to your clients.
- You are a results-oriented, analytical problem-solver with a big heart and a lot of empathy for your team.
- You have outstanding communication and collaboration skills, great public speaking skills in English
- You are able to refer to concrete cases where you achieved measurable results in your past work.

**Preferred Experience**:

- You have experience working in education or EdTech.
- You worked in teams creating or managing digital products.
- You have experience working remotely.
- You have experience working in teams or projects that were growing at a fast-pace.

What you will do:

- Improving the team’s overall performance (key operational metrics, tone of voice, and qualifications) to achieve quarterly and annual goals
- Analysing the quality of work of individual experts and how it matches with our internal guidelines, formulating and providing thoughtful feedback based on this analysis
- Assessing existing processes and impact on students, looking for ideas on what could be optimized to improve student experience and team’s workflows
- Serving as a bridge between the experts team and other product teams: collecting feedback from the experts for product development, and updating the experts on company news, projects, and tasks from other teams
- Hiring and onboarding new experts, coordinating the team’s capacity and workload
- Managing billing, contracts, and payment processes, carrying out audit of billed activities
- Developing internal knowledge bases and process documentation for experts
- Regularly reporting on the team’s performance to key stakeholders
