**Global Product Specialist**:

In this role you will be in charge of driving the long-term profitable growth globally of the DIN Rail protection devices within the Global Product Group Energy Distribution. You will define, plan and ensure implementation of product strategies of the assigned portfolio to meet business objectives in agreement with the global product strategy.

**This position reports to**:
Global Product Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manage energy distribution products from both a technical and a business perspective, establish an international network, and represent the voice of the customer within our organization
- Perform in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identify customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new opportunities for ABB
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and take the lead within the product development or cost streamlining process
- Acting as interface between global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D
- Take the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the future.
- Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketing
- Manage the full Life cycle of respective product portfolio

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering or relevant discipline.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Market knowledge of low voltage energy distribution
- 5 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes
- Self-motivated person with a team player mindset
