In this role, your will part of an international team of Product Specialists, located in several countries, leading products made in different parts of the world, which save people life from electrical injuries. You will be the one with the full overview, from identifying business opportunities, kicking off activities with R&D department and launching to our sales networks. You will report to the Product Manager of People Protection DIN Rail Devices, Global Product Group Energy Distribution, Division ELSB.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Managing people protection devices from both a technical and a business perspective, establishing an international network, and representing the voice of the customer within our organization.
- Performing in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identifying customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new opportunities for ABB.
- Translating customer needs into technical requirements and taking the lead within the product development or cost streamlining process.
- Acting as interface between global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D, SCM etc.
- Taking the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the future.
- Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketing.
- Managing the full Life cycle of respective product portfolio.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or relevant discipline.
- More than 5 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred.
- Market knowledge of low voltage energy distribution
- Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes.
- Leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation complete the profile.
