Principali attività / Responsabilità della posizione:
The role, within the BroadBand area Economic Affairs & Competitive Analysis will take care of:
- Develop strategic solutions to competition and regulatory issues using micro-economic and quantitative tools in the media, telecoms and digital markets in Italy;
- Support business functions and internal lawyers on regulatory economics, pricing issues during negotiation/partnership, especially in the telecoms market;
- Define economic impacts and strategic positioning during public consultation/ proceedings on market regulation with Agcom, Government Bodies, EU;
- Support for the representation of Sky positioning on market regulation proceedings (i.e. hearings, informal meeting, etc.) beyond Agcom, Government Bodies, EU;
- Prepare reports, presentations and witness statements, as well as research and benchmarking analysis.
Requisiti richiesti:
- Degree in Economics or Engineering with an excellent record in microeconomics and/or Industrial organization (postgraduate degree is a plus);
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience, including strategic/tech/economic consulting, and regulated companies (experience in telco is a plus);
- Demonstrated potential and enthusiasm to develop new expertise areas (i.e. competition and regulatory economics) and help identify innovative solutions in a fast changing industry;
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills (including proficiency with Excel), along with practical problem solving abilities;
- Relationship building skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills both in Italian and English.
