**Position overview**:
As the SHE Manager at the Bassano plant, you will provide expert leadership to ensure compliance with government regulations and allnex's SHE policies and standards. You will establish and maintain safety, health, and environmental certifications and continuously improve our programs and activities.

Reporting directly to the Site Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment while driving our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with SHE standards and regulatory requirements through gap analysis and risk assessments, developing/revising procedures, and implementing necessary actions.
- Create a culture focused on SHE by building awareness and providing training.
- Lead PSM activities, including developing/executing PHA plans, to minimize risk.
- Review audits and lead closure of findings for continual improvement.
- Develop/manage SHE capex and expense budgets to support initiatives.
- Provide guidance/recommendations for SHE in investment/continuous improvement activities.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions, conduct SHE audits for improvement opportunities.
- Inspect fields regularly to ensure safety standards are met, evaluate new products/processes for safe production.

**Required skills and experience**:

- 5-7 years of SHE experience in chemical or process manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of local/regional SHE regulations, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 45001
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management, HAZOP studies, and safety improvement methodologies
- Some experience of waste management norms and wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize work, conduct root cause analysis, and find innovative solutions to SHE challenges
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and research/investigative abilities
- Fluency in Italian and English

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Safety, Health, or Environmental field is required.
- Legal certificates that enable you to act as Site SHE Manager for Safety and Environmental.
- An advanced technical university degree preferred.
