Curricular Internship

The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) division provides private and public companies as well as financial sponsors and entrepreneurs with a wide range of equity products, ranging from private placements, IPOs, right issues, equity-linked instruments and structured equity solutions. As part of the broader Advisory & Financing Solutions business, ECM collaborates closely with many other areas of the bank, such as sector and corporate coverage teams, with full visibility on the full suite of investment banking solutions we offer to our Clients. The ECM team based in Milan oversees all the business opportunities across Italy, Central and Eastern Europe as well as in international markets, providing exposure to different geographies, each with its specific market dynamics and varying Clients’ needs. **What you'll be doing**: - Pitching and origination activities: support in the preparation of content for client meetings (e.g. market updates, analysis of precedent transactions, excel models for deal structuring, shareholder analysis and investor targeting) - Execution of ECM transactions: support in the day-to-day project workstreams, including performing ad-hoc analyses and preparing client materials, as well as drafting internal documentation such as committee memos and any deal-related communication - Targeting of potential ECM opportunities: support in the preparation of internal presentations, databases maintenance **What you'll need to succeed**: - Excellent academic background and strong quantitative and analytical skills. Finance, Economics or Accounting majors preferred with demonstrated interest in corporate finance and capital markets - Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English required. Fluency in German or any other European language will be considered a plus - Solid IT skills and competent user of the MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
